Special lifting tool funnels
Dekker Groep has several sand sewing installations on board of the sand classification installation ‘Rotterdam 55’. Some funnels of the sewing installation were due for replacement due to wear. Because these funnels are fully integrated into the installation, it would be very difficult to remove them using the traditional lifting methods.

Counterweight lifting tool
Vroegh-edc has developed a special lifting tool with a counterweight that makes it possible to grab the funnels from the side of the installation in a fork and lift them out without having to dismantle the entire top of the installation. The new funnels are then reassembled in the same way. The lifting tool consists of a balance bar with a counterweight. The lifting tool is extremely safe to use and fully certified.
Short production stop
This special lifting tool kept the production stop of the sand classification installation as short as possible and allowed sand production to be resumed quickly.
