Haastrechtse Bridge.
As part of the major maintenance works on the Haastrechtse Bridge in Gouda, the bridge is being structurally and technically renewed to make it future-proof. The works are part of the programme Gouda works on the city and are aimed at improving the safety, reliability and service life of the bridge.

Engineering and modelling
Within this project, Vroegh-edc is responsible for the complete modelling and engineering of various steel and mechanical components of the bridge. This includes, among others, the steel bascule leaf, the main girders of the main pivot point, the ballast box, the handrail system and the drive and movement systems.
From design to As-Built
Vroegh-edc provides both the detailed design (UO) drawings and the workshop drawings for production and assembly. After completion of the project, the As-Built drawings are also prepared, accurately recording the final situation.
Collaboration
The project is carried out in close collaboration with Van der Zalm Metaalindustrie and Dura Vermeer as the main contractor. Through integrated coordination between engineering and execution, an efficient and well-controlled construction process is achieved.
