In order to safely transfer personnel from a jack-up vessel to an offshore monopile, a gangway system is used. To ensure safe and stable installation of this system onboard, Vroegh-edc has designed a robust outrigger frame. This frame provides a secure interface between the vessel and the gangway foundation, allowing for reliable offshore operations even in challenging sea conditions.

Boom rest support
In addition to the outrigger frame, a dedicated boom rest was developed to support the gangway during transit. The boom rest ensures that the gangway is safely stowed and fully supported when not in operation, minimizing stress on the structure and extending the system’s lifespan.
