Fender construction Zee & Delta – Zandkreek West
On behalf of Rijkswaterstaat, De Klerk Werkendam has renovated three ports at various locations in Zeeland. Mooring piles have been removed and installed and new conservation has been applied. Various jetties and fender structures have been refurbished and renewed.

Drafting works fender construction
Vroegh-edc made workshop drawings of the fender construction works Zee & Delta for the Zandkreek West locks. This is part of the large maintenance program of the Dutch government of infrastructure, Rijkswaterstaat.
Mountable fender assemblies
The fender construction exists of 5 piles with 4 main structures welded to. The main structures are assembled together with a flange interface. The fender assemblies are suspended using a hook assembly method which makes them to be easily installed onsite above water.
